Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for project execution of a capacity expansion project from project kick off to Mass Production.

  • Manage schedules and costs for assigned projects.

  • Ability to form and lead strong multi-functional teams to coordinate FES team, engineering team, QA & RA team, EHS team, supply chain team, technical center team, IT team, finance team, HR team, etc. to achieve project’s objectives.

  • Advise upper management for plant level projects financial healthy management.

  • Establish and maintain communications with both program team and senior management.

  • Negotiate/facilitate resource allocation and/or employee relation issues with Functional Managers.

  • Provide dashboard, status report regularly and communicate related information to stakeholders

  • Ability to respond in a timely fashion to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or internal personnel.

  • Conduct formal design reviews with stakeholders to ensure design(s) meet all stakeholders’ design requirements.

  • Ability to effectively present information to program team and/or senior management

  • Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.

  • Comply and follow all procedures within the company including quality, safety, security, IP, compliance policies.

  • Ability to manage and control project risks and mitigation plan

  • Ability to work with CM to manage constructions engineering team

  • Support program director to coordinate development of plant level aspects of planning, including but not limited to: preparing preliminary project schedules, providing preliminary capital estimates, planning all risks/mitigation plan, and preparing preliminary project budgets in CPJ/CPA submission phase

Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in an engineering or manufacturing operations discipline, Master’s degree preferred;

  • Five years experiences in project management role, be familiar with capacity expansion project including facility expansion/engineering constructions, production set up, registration, GMP audit until launch

  • Has both good personal technical background and teamwork spirit, has certain negotiable capability and effective logical thinking way to solve problems,

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively across geographic boundaries and with people of different cultures

  • Excellent leadership, communications and team work skills

  • Related training, like PMP, GMP, Six Sigma, or Lean Manufacturing is preference

  • Bilingual in English and Chinese with fluent verbal/writing communication
