12 Month Contract
The Electrical Equipment Engineer is responsible for the equipment used in the manufacture of compounded products in Dublin Deansgrange and Sandyford Sites.
The Electrical Equipment Engineer will work with the Deansgrange and Sandyford Engineering team and equipment vendors to maintain and calibrate all compounding equipment.
The role will be five days per week, with some out of hours work to facilitate maintenance that cannot be completed within operating cleanroom.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Demonstrate a safety-first approach to every single aspect of the role.
Troubleshooting, fault finding and resolution of issues related to compounding plant related equipment.
Implement an engineering improvement plan for the Dublin Compounding Unit.
Ensuring the reliability of plant and equipment to ensure that plant availability and OEE metrics are continuously improved.
Plan and direct the installation, testing, operation, calibration, maintenance and repair of all facilities and equipment within the Dublin Compounding Unit.
Develop and implement preventative maintenance procedures and schedules.
Compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) or Good Distribution Practices (GDP) as applicable.
Manage external resources such as OEM’s, service providers, calibration providers, installation engineers.
Review of contractors’ day sheets to ensure accuracy of information, problem resolution and cost effectiveness.
Make decisions about prioritizing Engineering and Compounding activities.
Build and maintain relationships with leaders within the business including, the Engineering Manager, Head of Engineering, Head of Service, Unit Managers, Operations, Validations, Quality Management, Production Staff, Contractors, OEM’s.
Degree/Diploma in an engineering related discipline.
Extensive experience in a manufacturing and maintenance role.
GMP manufacturing environment experience is necessary.
Knowledge of GMP in a sterile manufacturing environment.
Technical understanding of cleanroom plant and associated equipment.
Experience of operation within maintenance and project engineering functions.
Experience and knowledge of implementation of continuous improvement activities and engineering best practice.
Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner.
Proficient in computerized tools and strong understanding of quality management systems
