We are seeking a highly motivated Enterprise-Wide Applications Analyst to join our Microsoft 365 Platform Management Team and lead the enterprise M365 platform into the future. You will have the opportunity to directly impact the next generation of the M365 platforms digital products and services in use across the company. By leveraging product data, internal customer requirements, competitive analysis, and achieving a comprehensive understanding of user needs you will be accountable for the strategy and direction for the enterprise. You will play a hands-on role in defining the vision, prioritizing features, and managing the product roadmaps for the next phase of our enterprise transformation. This role will also work closely with engineering, product teams, operations, cybersecurity, sector program offices and customers to challenge the boundaries of what's possible. This role can be performed by a level 3 (Mid-Career) or level 4 (Mid-Senior) level.

Reporting to Enterprise Business Operations, the successful candidate will be highly collaborative, technically savvy, and passionate about delivering impactful user experiences to customers. The Enterprise-Wide Applications Analyst will collaborate with Agile project teams on thedesign, development, and management of digital products and services, from early conceptual definition through launch and adoption. This role is 100% virtual/work from home, but the employee will be required to reside near a major Northrop Grumman location (Northern Virginia, Baltimore/Linthicum, MD, Melbourne, FL, Redondo Beach, CA, etc.). The Manager prefers candidates who live in the Northern Virginia area, so they can attend meetings in Arlington and Reston, VA pretty frequently. Virtual/work from home arrangements are subject to change based on the needs of the business.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a product manager and subject matter expert responsible for aspects of theM365 platform.

  • Align the M365 platform strategy to internal requirements and financial targets to drive value for the business.

  • Transform business goals into strategic digital initiatives and cutting-edge digital products and services.

  • Leverage industry and technology trends to inform product definition and share with working teams and business units.

  • Define and clearly communicate product roadmaps, KPIs, and measures of product success to stakeholders.

  • Influence stakeholders and gain consensus for product strategy and milestones, building visual and other artifacts to assist key decision making.

  • Define product and feature sets through a user-centered approach and design centered thinking to include third party integrations.

  • Stay current on M365 changes, updates and new Microsoft releases.

  • Drive implementation and adoption of the fully available tool suite and back up adoption with quantitative measures.

  • Provide training and keep staff/users engaged on Microsoft 365 changes that impact the organization.

  • Assist in managing our M365 relationship with Microsoft.

  • Collaborate with Agile development teams on sprint definition, backlog prioritization, development, and release of MVPs.

  • Support product innovation by developing, analyzing usage metrics and continuously improving upon the user experience and product releases.

Basic Qualifications for the Level 3:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business or related field with 5 years of relevant experience OR a Master's Degree with 3 years of relevant experience

  • Demonstrated experience with data driven decision making.

  • Advanced analytical and problem resolution skills

  • Demonstrated experience in full product lifecycle management, from concept, to customer identification/validation, product definition, development, production release, and adoption.

  • Experience developing, obtaining buy-in, and executing against an enterprise scale digital strategy.

  • Demonstrated capability to make timely prioritization decisions to ensure objectives meet critical business needs and timelines.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to influence multi-disciplinary teams and develop strong partnerships across functions to drive measurable operational results.

  • Possess strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively at all levels within the company.

  • Ideal candidate is a collaborative, detail oriented, reliable individual who strives to deliver the highest quality products with the customer experience as a key focus.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business or related field with 9 years of relevant experience OR a Master's Degree with 7 years of relevant experience

  • Demonstrated experience in full product lifecycle management, from concept, to customer identification/validation, product definition, development, production release, and adoption.

  • Experience developing, obtaining buy-in, and executing against an enterprise scale digital strategy.

  • Demonstrated capability to make timely prioritization decisions to ensure objectives meet critical business needs and timelines.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to influence multi-disciplinary teams and develop strong partnerships across functions to drive measurable operational results.

  • Possess strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively at all levels within the company.

  • Ideal candidate is a collaborative, detail oriented, reliable individual who strives to deliver the highest quality products with the customer experience as a key focus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated subject matter expertise in the Microsoft 365 product suite, license models, capabilities, and deployments to include Microsoft Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Office Suite, Power Platform and other apps such as Planner, Forms, OneNote, etc.

  • Experience with Microsoft Entra/Azure Active Directory

  • Experience in SAFe and/or SAFe certified.

  • Familiarity with Agile software delivery practices and expectations

  • Experience with Azure or AWS Cloud offerings a plus.

  • One or more Office 365 certifications is a plus.

Salary Range: $88,600 - $133,000

Salary Range 2: $109,900 - $164,900

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
