**Summary:

Gather and test products for quality control purposes. Coordinates quality control program to ensure continuous production consistent with established standards. Requires constant interaction with work groups and other departments within the plant. Identify and solve quality problems. Must be resourceful, and well organized.

**Essential Functions:

Maintain QA equipment

Obtain and evaluate product samples at regular intervals.

Maintain accurate records and prepare reports.

Check metal detectors.

Performs mathematical calculations and record information in proper reports.

Conduct temperature checks of freezer, loading dock, chiller and coolers.

Conduct HACCP checks.

Inspection checks on fillets and nuggets and document results.

Check calibration of scales.

Perform sanitation checks.

Follow USDA guidelines and assist in audits.

Ensure all quality policies and procedures are followed.

Perform quality test as required by procedures or as needed.

Report any problems to QA Supervisor or QA Manager.
