Cadence Bank Operations Specialist I - OPERA001761 in Tupelo, Mississippi

This is a job for a Operations Specialist I position with a company located in Tupelo, MS.

Summary:A successful candidate should be individually ambitious as well as motivated to work as a team to achieve a shared goal. Must have the ability to work on multiple task with varying duties, achieve departmental targets and goals. This is a high-volume, fast-paced, deadline driven production environment.

Essential Job Duties: Tasks such as extracting lockbox payments, verifying data on payments and accompanying documents, processing according to customer's detailed instructions, and data entry. This position has strict production metrics that determine acceptable levels of performance and requires that all payments (checks) must be processed same day. There are also strict deadlines requiring flexibility of schedule, as this is an open-ended position with the start and end time being determined by work flow. Capacity to work overtime, as required. Ability to left, stand or sit for long periods of time. Provide consistent exemplary customer service for lockbox clients, communicating effectively and taking ownership of task performed. Responsible for performing job duties in a manner that protects the security and privacy of protected health information as required by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA)

Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. Basic computer knowledge. 10-key numerical data entry experience.

Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision in a structured environment. Ability to operate effectively in a team with minimal supervision. Ability to work in a multi-task fast paced environment. Ability to adapt to changing customer requirements. Requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, ability to follow procedures. Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with limited supervision. Ability to work flexible hours. Ability to perform well under pressure and meet required deadlines Regular and reliable attendance. Works cooperatively with others.

Preferred: 1-3 years banking experience or related work experience with an Operations background. 6+ months of experience meeting deadlines in a business or office environment. Competency in Microsoft applications including Word and Excel.
