What’s a typical day as a Quality Control Claims Specialist? You’ll be:

• Acting as a liaison between Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC)

• Reviewing problem statements and providing inspection criteria and instructions

• Supporting QA in resolving quality issues

• Inspecting, isolating, and processing non-conforming inventory

• Ensuring compliance with Honda drawings

• Interpreting and acting upon tech memos, dispositions, stock checks, and quality concerns

• Documenting and communicating activities associated with quality inspections

• Keeping accurate and organized records of all activities

• Monitoring and maintaining relevant daily reports

• Adhering to established quality work instructions and reference guides

• Communicating daily progress to management

• Assisting tech inspectors with part inspections/dispositions

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have the ability to take precise parts measurements using the metric system with a tape measure and/or calipers

• Possess good interpersonal skills

• Have good computer skills including email, Excel, and parts catalog

• Have above-average written and verbal communication skills

• Can work alone and with minimal supervision

• Have good interpretive skills (written communication and technical drawings)
