Your Specific Responsibilities:

Processes DMS Telecommunications Services Invoices utilizing the PBX application and secondary database applications.

Updates/manages access databases for DMS phone related accounts, and PBX application data.

Agency Administrator for the DMS CSAB system, which involves setting up users, exporting files and invoices, setting up agency accounts, and exporting files and invoices for processing.

Prepares Administrative Snapshot, Prompt Payment Compliance Reports, and measurement of key indicators for prompt payment reports.

Serves as back up to managing, monitoring, and reconciling the Collocated Journal Transfer (CJT) System; and processing update, addition and deletion requests in the CJT system as well as addition CJT codes to FLAIR Title and expansion files, as needed.

Cross trains with other positions in the unit. Assists the Pcard Administration Unit. Reviews and rewrites Accounting Policies and Internal Operating Procedures.

Assists in the design, development, and implementation of automated systems designed to enhance the delivery of client's services to improve the department wide managerial and financial reporting capabilities and maximize utilization of departmental resources.

Assists F&A Director with special projects, performs other related duties and assignments, as required and serves as back up for processing monthly statements on the accounts for MQA undercover credit cards.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of data processing principles, practices, and techniques applicable to large-scale computer system. Knowledge of accounting policy, practices, and procedures. Knowledge of FLAIR. Knowledge of basic management principles.

Qualifications:

Minimum - Incumbent may be required to work before, during and/or beyond normal work hours or days in the event of an emergency. Emergency duty required of the incumbent includes working in special needs or Red Cross shelters, or performing other emergency duties including, but not limited to, responses to or threats involving any disaster or threat of disaster, man-made or natural.

Preferred – Experience in Excel, Microsoft word, Data Entry
