Technical Account Manager (London & Home counties)

What you would do as our Technical Account Manager

The position will report directly to the Project Manager, you will be joining our operations team, the Technical Account Manager will be in charge for all technical aspects relating to our key customers, survey of the complicated jobs and a key asset for the account manager to drive improvements together. The role will also be responsible for close contact with the installation and service managers to ensure the customer is always receiving a professional service.

You would also be responsible for:

  • Pre-sales support for complex site solutions; customer guidance on best fit technical solutions against site requirements

  • Site survey and technical sign-off

  • Installation and commissioning instructions and requirements validation

  • Issuing RAMs/SoWs to Site team ahead of installation and commissioning

  • Articulating access restrictions and requirement, including creation of Lift Plans as required

  • Post-sales support for complex site solutions; providing guidance to the Customer and to Biosite for continued best fit

  • Validation of applications for payments placed under Customer Sub-contract orders, to ensure payments are efficiently received for works undertaken

    The skills and experience you need

  • We are looking for someone who has:

  • Proven experience in a similar management role

  • IOSH or equivalent qualification and a SMSTS qualification

  • Strong knowledge of 18 edition IET wiring regulations

  • A good understanding of PC hardware and fire & security Installations

  • A good understanding of networking, structured cabling & routing

  • Experience in surveying and estimating duration of works

  • Strong knowledge of Access, Fire & CCTV systems

  • Ability to produce and annotate drawings

  • Is an ALLMI Appointed Person

  • Excellent communication with customers and internal stakeholders

  • Credible technical knowledge
