Amazon Global Selling is looking for a talented Sales and Business Development Manager in China, whom want to lead a team, promote and shape the future of cross-border business in strategic Region – South China. This team leader will develop local Seller Recruiting strategy, lead team grow regional cross-border ecosystem, increase global selling market penetration, promote and help all kinds of business sell into Amazon global marketplaces.

Background on Amazon Global Selling: The Marketplace or “Selling on Amazon” business exists in 10+ countries and exceeds 40% of total Amazon unit sales and growing. Each year, tens of thousands of businesses join the marketplace adding millions of new products. Amazon’s vision is to offer the earth’s largest product selection and lowest prices for our customers. One way we deliver on this vision is by developing to local country Sellers, Manufacturers, and Entrepreneurs to help them to launch their products onto the platform thereby maximizing the quantity of items that they list while ensuring the highest quality of product images and information.

The ideal candidate will possess outstanding business acumen, both business development and talents development, drive quality business planning and execution, bring rich industry experience, a relentless focus on the customer, and will manage long term vision for region growth. In this role, you will be responsible for building, developing, and leading multi-function teams located in Shenzhen; own regional business performance end to end; also define seller recruiting strategy, bringing high quality unique selection to all Amazon marketplaces including NA, EU, JP and Emerging arcs.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 3+ years of sales or marketing work (like e-commerce, retail technology, SaaS) or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of inside sales experience

  • Knowledge of procurement and source to pay methods at small and medium businesses

  • Experience influencing at all levels within an organization, particularly at the executive level

  • Experience exceeding sales targets using a consultative, solutions-focused approach or equivalent
