Under limited supervision, the Test Proctor's responsibilities include welcoming and checking in test candidates, verifying ID, and administering a variety of exams. The proctor also monitors candidates during testing. The proctor works and interacts effectively with students, instructors, and College staff to create a secure, efficient and courteous testing environment.

-Greet tester and verify ID -Provide instructions to student regarding his/her test. -Seat candidate and launch test. -Proctor test, including monitoring candidate via video surveillance. -Maintain the cleanliness of testing area. -Answer phone. -Operate office equipment. -Work with and protect confidential information. -Operate electronic mail and messaging systems. -Accurately organize and file test materials in both paper and electronic formats. -Look up student and other information in College Information System (Banner). -Enforce required policies and procedures firmly and courteously. -Provide accurate and consistent information in a clear and articulate manner. -Provide excellent customer service to all visitors to the testing center. -Assist departmental personnel with other duties as needed.
