Leadership Development Facilitator - Carmel, IN (Hybrid or Remote w/ travel to Carmel, IN offices required)

The Leadership Development Facilitator designs and delivers best-in-class leadership development experiences and learning journeys that drive performance and measurable business outcomes. This role partners closely with colleagues, key stakeholders, and senior leadership to support a learning culture at all levels of the organization. In addition to lively and engaging facilitation, this learning expert will advertise and program manage learning programs to ensure success.

What You Will Do:

Business Partnership

• Partner with key stakeholders and senior leadership to create innovative learning solutions and experiences

• Collaborate closely with regions, functions, and business units to identify needs and align programs in support of the Global Talent Strategy

• Measure program effectiveness and adapt to improve satisfaction, knowledge transfer, behavior change, business results, and return on the learning investment

• Oversee and manage designated vendor relationships

Program Design

• Identify needs, design, deliver, support and evaluate leadership and functional development programs and learning journeys for global leadership programs/offerings

• Provide creative learning solutions per organizational needs and statements of work – based on adult learning principles – that ensure effective and sustainable learning and performance outcomes

• Ensure learning experiences incorporate adult learning principles and modern instructional design best practices

• Partner with internal and external subject matter experts to deliver learning solutions

Program Manage

• Coordinate training efforts with various cross-functional areas

• Coordinate and schedule leadership courses

• Work with the Global Learning Team to create communication plans and marketing of course and program offerings

Facilitation

• Facilitate in-person at our Carmel, IN US Headquarters and virtual leadership development training with excellence

• Incorporate leadership and business expertise into learning environments

• Utilize facilitation best practices to create an engaging and effective classroom

• Certify and serve as master trainer for programs and train-the-trainer events

Leadership Development Expertise

• Support and enable the growth of a learning culture and desired leadership behaviors through leadership development programs

• Serve as a subject matter expert regarding leadership effectiveness

What You Need to Succeed:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 6+ years of relevant experience

• 3+ years of leadership development experience with demonstrated success

• 3+ years training delivery experience in a business setting

• Preference given to candidates living within driving distance to Carmel, IN for on-site facilitations approximately 1x a month.

• Enthusiastic, energetic, and dynamic facilitation skills

• Industry recognized facilitator or program specific trainer certifications required

• Excellent communication and presentation skills; executive and classroom presence

• High level of organization and time management skills; ability to work independently to drive results

• High emotional intelligence and classroom management skills for the adult learner

• Familiarity with learning design approaches, such as SAM, the ADDIE Model, the Competency-Based Model, and others

• Ability to travel 10% for in person facilitation sessions

Desired Characteristics

• Advanced degree in a related field or equivalent

• Manufacturing industry experience

• Established project management skills

• Experience working in a multi-cultural/global environment

• Knowledge and experience with learning development tools such as Articulate Studio, Storyline, Camtasia, and Vyond
