Actalent Project Engineer in Pineville, North Carolina

Job Description

Project Engineer

Projects team contributing to the development and execution of the business’s annual strategic plan.

This position reports directly to the Project Engineer Lead

  • Entering standard products orders into ERP.

  • Coordinates job details with production including job order release

  • Works with logistics on shipments of orders.

  • Provides status updates of all open orders to clients as requested.

  • Provides customer service to clients for open orders and quotes.

  • Perform document control functions such as document submittals, document receipt, and Final MRB creation

  • Create job order package creation including BOM take-off and man-hour verification

  • Work with Project Engineers and Managers to assist in Preliminary Packing List creation

  • Work with freight forwarders on logistics regarding all projects

  • Provide other general administrative support to Project Engineers/Managers as required.

Additional

Skills & Qualifications

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (ME, Civil, Chemical Engineer)

  • 1-3 years project engineering experience (product focused)

  • 1-3 years customer service or related experience preferred
