SUMMARY

Administer government service contracts. Serve as the liaison between customers and the company in providing information concerning quotations and orders of GSA and other government contracts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage Contract Coordinators and other support staff as required, including performance reviews, training, and other leadership responsibilities. Involves management and analysis of contracts and problems, evaluating customer requirements and coordinating corrective action. Prepare, administer and coordinate customer/dealer quotations, proposals, bids, orders, contracts and specifications in a timely and efficient manner. Support proposal negotiations with customers. Analyze on a regular basis labor charges, standardize labor purchase orders, and create progress reports on ongoing contracts. Analyze and review reports to ensure costs and schedules are being controlled and managed. Track, analyze and review reports to ensure that costs, schedule, and performance under assigned government programs are being controlled and managed within established guidelines Prepare additional data and/or correspondence as may be required by corporate management. Present a professional image of OSK to U.S. agencies and foreign governments. Work in liaison with corporate departments and government to assist in resolving contract or schedule problems Prepare DD250 forms and DD1149 forms for approval by government to ensure invoicing and product shipment. Assist with preparation of such additional data or correspondence as may be required by management or the provisions of the contract. Interpret contract language and disseminate to company personnel. Assist in the identification of new business and proposal preparation, when required. Communicate consistently with customers to clarify details regarding the orders. Provide information concerning pricing, scheduling, billing, shipping, quality, forecasting and other requests. As required, this person may prepare forecasts, project charts, goals & objectives, in-house reports, and written & verbal correspondence to customers, distributors & vendors. Provide technical support, administrative and research support. Coordinate and host, in a professional demeanor, customer representative visits, factory tours, and product inspections, as needed. Evening or weekend work with customers may be required. Travel to customer locations (CONUS and OCONUS) may reach 25 percent of individuals work time. Other duties as assigned.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field

  • 3-plusyearsrelated work experience

  • Must be able to obtain a secret security clearance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prior experience withJDE

  • Strong computer skills required including Microsoft Office

  • The ability to communicate effectively, deal diplomatically with customers & dealers, work independently, prioritize and manage numerous projects, and be innovative and creative
