Aston Carter Accounts Receivable Analyst in Newmarket, Ontario

Responsibilities:

  • Full Cycle AR Management: Handle end-to-end accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliations.

  • Manufacturing Environment: Leverage your expertise in AR within a manufacturing context, understanding industry-specific nuances.

  • SAP Experience: Utilize your proficiency in SAP to manage AR transactions, track payments, and resolve discrepancies.

  • Cash Flow Analysis: Monitor cash flow, identify trends, and provide insights to optimize working capital.

  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare regular AR reports, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with accounting principles.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, sales, and customer service.

  • Problem-Solving: Investigate and resolve AR-related issues promptly.

  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance AR processes and streamline workflows.

    Qualifications:

  • 3-5 Years of AR Experience: Demonstrated experience managing accounts receivable in a similar role.

  • Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify patterns, and make informed decisions.

  • Attention to Detail: Accuracy in handling financial transactions and documentation.

  • Effective Communication: Clear communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Proficiency in SAP: Experience using SAP for AR management.

  • Education: A relevant degree or diploma in accounting, finance, or a related field.
