Description and Requirements

As the Channel Program Manager for the Lenovo Channel Team, your primary responsibility is to drive effective communication and enablement across Lenovo's entire portfolio of products, services, and solutions within our channel ecosystem. Specifically, you will focus on engaging with channel partner and distributors to ensure they are fully informed about rebate programs, marketing incentives, and other relevant initiatives while spearheading growth in Lenovo's Share of Wallet (SOW) within the distributor network.

As the Program Manager, you will play a crucial role in consolidating, executing, and optimizing channel programs and promotions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and driving engagement with partners and distributors.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Consolidation of Channel & Distributor Programs and Promotions (IDG + ISG RM, TM):
  • Gather and consolidate all channel and distributor programs and promotions across various Lenovo business units.

  • Ensure comprehensive coverage of programs, including terms and conditions, marketing collateral, and incentives.

  1. Creation of MS Teams Site for Program Documentation:
  • Establish an organized MS Teams site for storing and reviewing all program-related documents, including LBP and non-LBP programs, terms and conditions, and marketing collateral.

  • Facilitate easy access and collaboration among team members for efficient program management.

  1. Drive Program Execution:
  • Take the lead in driving the execution of channel and distributor programs, ensuring timely implementation and adherence to set guidelines.

  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to overcome any execution hurdles and ensure successful program delivery.

  1. Review of Internal and External Communications:
  • Analyze current and future-state communication processes to streamline internal and external communications related to programs and promotions.

  • Ensure clarity and consistency in messaging to partners and distributors, enhancing program acceptance and engagement.

  1. Evaluation of Partner and Distributor Program Participation:
  • Review partner and distributor program participation levels and thresholds to gauge effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

  • Conduct ROI analysis to measure the impact of programs on business outcomes and make data-driven decisions for optimization.

  1. Management of CDF Programs and HC Funding:
  • Review and consolidate all Co-Development Funds (CDF) programs, terms and conditions, and marketing collateral for partners and distributors.

  • Assess the current process for allocating and managing HC (Headcount) funding across territory managers, relationship managers, and Inside Sales Group (ISG).

  • Analyze the cost of funded HC and ROI to refine funding strategies and ensure maximum impact.

  • Manage tracking, payment processes, and adherence to CDF guidelines and Points of Execution (POE).

  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement and alignment with CDF funding objectives.

  1. Communication Strategy for Partners and Distributors:
  • Manage both internal and external communications related to channel programs and promotions.

  • Evaluate existing communication processes and identify opportunities for improvement to enhance clarity and effectiveness.

  • Establish and manage an MS Teams group to centralize communication materials and foster collaboration among stakeholders.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in channel management, partner development, or related roles within the technology industry.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Proficiency in ROI analysis.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication. Experience in crafting clear communications for diverse audiences.

  • Project Management: Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and drive cross-functional collaboration.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and D365
