Job Description

Our food manufacturing client is seeking a Business Quality Manager to join their FSQA team in one of three locations (Weston, OR - Vernon, CA - Mt Laurel, NJ). This role will work with manufacturing cities across the US with 50% expected travel and be interfacing with Operations, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Marketing, Sales, R&D and customers. This person plays a critical role in assisting with customer engagement as necessary and the development of customer facing communications, and documentation for food safety/quality plans and risk assessments, audit preparation, specification review and compliance, defect standards and training to ensure high level food safety and quality. The individual will influence management on the alignment of FSQA strategies, annual objectives, and CI or plant project plans. The individual will direct and assist with deploying food safety and quality assurance programs across plants, functional areas, and influence plant leadership with FSQA best practices.

Skills and Requirements

• BS in Food Science or related Science degree

• 3+ years in the baking industry, specifically in a Business Quality Manager/Compliance Manager/Quality Program Manager role

• Experience client facing with high visibility projects

• Food safety and quality experience, specifically within baking manufacturing - PCQI certification

• Six Sigma Black Belt null
