Federal Reserve System Legal Division Operations Analyst in Minneapolis, Minnesota

The Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis (Bank) is seeking a candidate for a full-time Business Analyst position in its Legal Division. This analyst independently manages the operations of the Legal Division (Division), serves in an office manager capacity for the Division, and provides administrative and project management support to attorneys. The successful candidate must be able to manage complex projects and processes independently, must have exceptional judgement and problem-solving skills, and will thrive as a leading contributor on a collegial and collaborative team.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the core operations of the Division independently, including project and process management; oversight of the Division records program; allocating and tracking attorney work; and management of the Division’s strategic objectives program, insurance administration program, and business continuity processes.

  • Provide direct support for key functions of the Division, including contracts management, administration of the Bank’s ethics program, administration of the Bank’s policies review processes, and management of legal holds.

  • Serve as office manager for the Division, including managing the Division calendar and agenda for Division meetings, managing invoices and expense reports, purchasing supplies, taking meeting notes, and assisting with events and visitors.

  • Support attorneys directly, including document support (drafting, formatting, proofreading), calendar management, assisting with onboarding and offboarding, and tracking CLE hours.

  • Serve as liaison to other Bank divisions to assist in coordinating work and joint projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • Experience managing complex projects independently.

  • Exceptional judgement, decision-making, problem-solving, and communications skills, both oral and written.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work with people at all levels of the organization.

  • Computer/technology skills including advanced proficiency with SharePoint, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

To be considered for the Business Analyst II level, minimum of 3 years of direct work-related experience and equivalent combination of related higher education and experience.

To be considered for the Business Analyst III level, minimum of 3 years of direct work-related experience and equivalent combination of related higher education and experience.

Additional Information: Salary offer will be based on qualifications/experience of the candidate, alignment with market data, the needs of the position, our total compensation package, and internal equity. 

Business Systems Analyst I: $53,900- $67,365 -$80,800 Annual

Business Systems Analyst II: $65,000- $81,236- $97,500 Annual

Business Systems Analyst III: $83,600 -$104,559- $125,500 Annual

Onsite work is an essential function of this position, and employees are expected to be in the office at least 3 days per week for meetings and team collaboration.

  • A requirement of this position is that the employee must be a "Protected Individual." A "Protected Individual" includes but is not limited to: (1) a citizen or national of the U.S.; or (2) an alien who is lawfully admitted to the U.S. for permanent residence and who applies for citizenship within six months of being eligible to apply for citizenship and, if offered a position with the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, will sign a Declaration of Intent to Become a United States Citizen.
