Qualified Candidates will be able to:

• Prepare and keep financial and business transaction data up-to-date, applying accepted procedures, and prepares reports to ensure accurate accounting records.
• Performs complex clerical and entry-level accounting activities.
• Compiles and checks source documents, such as vouchers, invoices, purchase requisitions, and employee reimbursements, for completeness and accuracy, and processes accordingly.

• Verifies and posts details of business transactions to appropriate ledgers and journals, and totals accounts.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have the following skills, education and experience:

- - Exclusive US Citizenship - Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance - High School Diploma required. Associates degree in related financial field preferred. - Minimum of 1-3 years of related work experience. - Experience in QuickBooks or JAMIS a plus. - Knowledge of GAAP and GAAS standards. - Knowledge of Government Contract Accounting a plus.

Salary Range: $45,000 - $55,000 depending on experience
