Job Title: Accounts Receivable (A/R) Collections

• Invoice Management: Generate and send invoices to customers promptly and accurately.

• Payment Tracking: Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts.

• Communication: Contact clients via phone, email, or in-person to discuss overdue payments and arrange settlements.

• Negotiation: Negotiate payment plans or settlements with debtors.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of collections activity and customer interactions.

• Reconciliation: Reconcile discrepancies in accounts receivable and resolve any billing issues.

• Reporting: Provide regular reports on collection activities and accounts receivable status to management.

• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service while working to resolve payment issues and maintain positive relationships with clients.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Education: A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.

• Experience: Previous experience in accounts receivable, collections, or a similar role is often required.

• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for effectively interacting with clients and colleagues.

• Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate payment terms and settlements with clients.

• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

• Attention to Detail: Accuracy in recording financial transactions and attention to detail in reconciling accounts.

• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions to resolve payment discrepancies.

• Software Proficiency: Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is often required.
