Job Summary

The Accounts Payable Representative is responsible for accounting and posting of payables for all Terumo locations within our Global Business Services (GBS) region. The position requires timely and accurate entering/reviewing of A/P vouchers. S/he is also responsible for payment processing for all locations.

Job Details/Responsibilities

  • Performs full cycle accounts payable processes for various entities part of GBS; matching and reviewing vouchers for appropriate approvals, weekly payment runs.

  • Proactive in identifying issues and takes the initiative to find solutions.

  • Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues with vendors, providing timely response to all inquiries.

  • To Collaborate well with business and procurement teams to ensure successful end to end invoice processing with 3 way match for PO Invoices and for timely approvals and coding for Non-PO Invoices.

  • Assist with month-end AP close tasks, and preparation of reports for AP accruals, AP aging reports for AP reconciliations.

  • Serves as point of contact for vendor relations.

  • Being part of GBS Accounts Payable team, ensure compliance with all AP internal processes.

  • Ensure all invoices are paid in an efficient and timely manner.

  • Provide excellent, timely customer service to internal and external stake holders.

  • Demonstrate strong understanding of process flows and internal controls.

  • Maintain and follow TMC Quality System requirements.

  • Associate is responsible to follow requirements of applicable national and international regulations.

  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications/ Background Experiences

  • Associate degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of experience.

  • Minimum 3 years accounts payable experience required.

  • Experience in utilizing ERP systems preferred, Experience with JDE, SAP, ARIBA, a plus.

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

  • Previous working experience with OCR technology to support automated invoice processing is a plus.

  • To be available to work during US EST time zone working hours shift.
