The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Warehouse Operator to join the team. This position works out of our Maidenhead location in the Diabetes. We’re focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions. We’re revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology.

As the Senior Warehouse Operator, you’ll be responsible for General Warehouse duties, dispatching and receiving stock.

What You’ll Do

• Picking, packing and dispatching orders in accordance with required time scales.

• Input of end of day post figures on to Royal Mail online system.

• Loading/unloading deliveries/collections with Powered Industrial Truck.

• Sorting and disposing of returned/out of date products.

• Assisting with monthly physical stock checks.

• Booking collections of stock through courier system.

• Handling general enquiries via telephone and email.

• Ordering stock through the Warehouse Inventory Management system.

• In Manager’s absence handle all relevant quality directives and comply with requests from WWPQA.

• Deputise for Warehouse Supervisor during periods of absence, to include but not limited to ordering inventory, completing stock adjustments for 3rd party warehouses, acting as a first point of contact for general queries, ensuring the accurate and timely despatch of orders, and any ad hoc duties as delegated by line manager.

Required Qualifications/Experience

• A level or equivalent – desired but not essential

• Forklift truck driver – desired but not essential

• Competent MS Office user

• Ability to learn new inventory management system software

• Warehouse experience
