Providence Director Provider Recruitment in Lubbock, Texas

Description

Directs the overall recruiting plan and operations of all activities that surround recruiting and retaining physicians in Texas and New Mexico. Also provides strategic direction of the recruiting of Advanced Practice Nurses and Physician Assistants. Participates in strategic planning and policy development as it relates to all physician recruiting and hiring. Exercises independent judgement and discretion within agreed upon limitations. This position makes administrative decisions and takes actions based on knowledge of the organization, its policies, procedures, and personnel. Continually seeks to improve and deliver processes, outcomes, and customer evaluation of the provider experience.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree. Or equivalent educ/experience.

  • upon hire: Active participation and/or membership in one or more physician recruitment special interest groups (e.g, ASPR, NAPR, etc.).

  • 3 years n physician recruitment including executive physician recruitment and hard to fill positions requiring deep sourcing.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • upon hire: FASPR or other industry certification.

  • Project management experience.

  • Working with fraud, abuse and inurement laws.

  • Laws related to recruitment and employment, including immigration and private practice support relationships.

About the Team

Providence Physician Enterprise (PE) is a service line within Providence serving patients across seven states with quality, compassionate, coordinated care. Collectively, our medical groups and affiliate practices are the third largest group in the country with over 11,000 providers, 900 clinics and 30,000 caregivers.
