About the role:

Reporting to the Continence Care (CC) Marketing Manager, the Brand Manager is building and deploying the French marketing action plan targeting both the Health Care Professionals and Users, matching the Global strategy and French specificities.

You will be responsible for building the operational marketing plan including implementation through multi-channel marketing campaigns to gain cut through in a highly competitive market.

You will lead the execution of CC marketing plan and uses insights and creative thinking to drive growth. Building the awareness and driving preference of these brands through brand leadership and execution excellence are critically important in this role.

The successful candidate will be based in Ile de France.

Key duties and responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the yearly brand marketing plan leveraging multi-channel approach (both traditional and digital) based on the global marketing plan, taking local market priorities, legal and budget constraints into account

• Build and roll out the operational marketing plan for the Continence Care market

• Strongly collaborate with Global marketing team influencing to secure consistency with French needs

• Adapt, conceive, and develop promotional tools to support sales force

• Ensure all marketing materials are up-to-date

• Support the delivery of new starter training and attend customer meetings and sales conferences (local or international)

• Define and optimize the performance of innovative campaigns that work cross-channels

• Own, develop, and monitor KPIs to analyze sales performance, market conditions & competition including measuring campaign performance and optimization of marketing materials and digital campaigns

• Continually improve the defined actions based on running feedbacks from the sales forces and the Key Account Manager, regular customer contacts and data analysis

• Ensure competitive intelligence with effective monitoring, analysis of competitor activity

About you

Essential skills:

You have at least 4/5 years of experience in a marketing role within pharmaceutical or medical device companies.

You have knowledge and interest for healthcare environment.

Keen to be customer facing, you will have the confidence to engage and shape the Continence Care market.

Education, Qualifications and Experience:

· The ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written) is essential

· Master degree in marketing or similar

· Must have a background in medical devices or pharmaceutical industry

· Strong experience of delivering projects to tight deadlines

Competencies:

· Successful implementation of product marketing campaigns that utilize multiple channels

· Understanding of the local medical device industry and legal/regulatory requirements

· Good knowledge of core marketing principles and practices including brand development and positioning, integration of marketing messages with clinical data

· Ability to bring and implement innovative ideas

· Capacity to value and anticipate customer needs (analysis, synthesis and recommendations)

· Excellent numerical, analytical and computer skills to quickly assimilate and interpret large amounts of information

· Strong oral and written communication skills

· Project management and teamwork orientation

· Convatec customers: wholesalers, Home Care providers and prescribers (doctors, surgeons, nurses) and users

· Suppliers (service providers, media, communication agencies, printers and publishers)

Working conditions

National legislation / full week working time.

Working environment is split between office and home office.
