The Centralised Management project team is responsible for managing a considerable percentage of Finance’s technology spend, helping to deliver across a portfolio of projects including, Regulatory Capital, Leverage and Reporting, Financial Accounting and General Ledger renovation. The team is also front and centre of the technology architecture discussions. The team supports EU, Global and local regulatory driven initiatives across Financial and Capital Reporting including Basel 3, Capital Calculators, FED, SEC, PRA & EBA reporting initiatives. The successful applicant will report to the Director within the team.

What will you be doing?

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to manage the delivery of Finance Project Change. The candidate should be able to demonstrate the following key skills & competencies:

  • Experience within existing Morgan Stanley role or business analysis background gained in the Financial Services Industry.
  • Experience of Regulatory reporting such as CoRep, Basel III and US FED reporting would be
  • Organisational skills with an ability to manage to tight deadlines whilst balancing priorities
  • Excellent analytical, organisational and documentation skills with an ability to understand processes and key controls.
  • Experience of data analysis and investigation and ability to communicate issues
  • Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) and ability to liaise with colleagues/clients of all levels

Hands on experience of end-to-end testing, including the following specific activities:

· Review and analysis of business requirements / user stories to validate acceptance criteria and create test scenarios, test case and test data · Test strategy planning and managing UAT and test cycles with all stakeholders - IT, users, and projects · Application of testing methodologies, principles, and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution · Implementation of processes/ process improvements, including automation of testing where possible and appropriate · Highly numerate with an attention to detail and accuracy

What we’re looking for:

· High proficiency in MS Excel, ability to analyse large datasets

· Experience of working in Agile delivery desirable

· Experience of AxiomSL® regulatory reporting platform would be beneficial

· Knowledge of tools - JIRA, Rally, Alteryx desirable

· Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)

· Strong co-ordination/ organisation skills, co-ordinating across the various teams involved in project delivery (IT, end users/SMEs, other stakeholders)
