The Dose Management Specialist is responsible for sales activities including new account development and/or expanding

existing accounts within the Southeast Region including Florida, Georgia, South Carolina and Eastern North Carolina. The person in this role will share job expertise and provide guidance to other sales reps. Additional responsibilities will include:

  • Achieve sales quotas through the direct sale of the company's products or services; implement sales strategies to attain

  • sales volume, product mix and profit objectives

  • Call on prospective customers, master effective sales presentations, provide technical and administrative product

  • information, and quote appropriate customer prices

  • Monitor sales against forecasts and participate in the determination of market potential for the territory

  • Work closely with customer service and customer operations to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction

  • Provide feedback to immediate supervisor and marketing personnel for the development of marketing policy,

  • recommended product and product line revisions as well as pricing changes

  • Promote the Baxter Culture through positive ongoing relationships and activities

  • Provide feedback regarding product simplification and standardization to enhance profitability of sales line

  • Assist other departments within organization to prepare manuals and technical publications

  • Assist in the product launches as determined by marketing and sales management

Candidate must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral, as well as negotiation and

presentation skills

  • Position requires ability to analyze and interpret data for effective sales strategies

  • Travel is required and may involve visits to remote or urban areas either individually or with other personnel

  • Must have good organization and time management skills

  • Ability to understand and adapt to customers' changing needs required for the role

  • Demonstrate business acumen and strong knowledge of sales processes

  • Bachelor's degree required with a 3 or more years of successful sales experience

  • Required to do onsite product demos of the equipment/hardware/software

  • Experience selling healthcare/hospital IT infrastructure and/or Pharmacy Software strongly preferred

  • Experience working with Hospital Pharmacy Operations i.e. Compounding Workflow and Pharmacy equipment a plus
