Job Summary and Duties: This position will entail keeping our StorNext products up to date with the latest and OS s, keeping up to date with all security patches, creating automated tests that will better help test these systems, and coding when time permits. Specific duties include but are not limited to: * Continually update the OS for release for our Xcellis, H-Series, & F-Series appliances. * Keep up with OS Security alerts and update where needed on our products.As part of this, automate the process of doing this to avoid manual work.

• Running Security tools such as Qualys and Nessus against our products.
• Update the firmware on the cards on that are supported by our appliances.
• Update the firmware for the Dell hardware that we support.
• For StorNext Clients keep up with latest OSs and make updates as necessary.
• Writing automated tests to test the various changes.
• Automation for any of this where we can. Job Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience in software development.
• 2+ years of writing code using C language.
• Several years of experience with scripting languages such as bash, perl, & python.
• Ability to read existing scripts & code in order to understand and improve the scripts & code.
• Good debugging skills.
• Experience working with Linux Kernels and writing code in C to interface to the kernels.
• Several years experience with Linux shell and/or Perl programming.

• Several years experience with multiple Linux OS s, including but not limited toRedHat and derivatives Ubuntu Debian SuSE

• Experience with source control environments such as GIT & Subversion.

• Experience with gitlab pipelines.
• Experience writing scripts & programs to automate items listed above.

• Experience working with updating/installing firmware of various cards such asEmulex Mellanox Dell

• Experience with vmware and virtual machine creation and development.

• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills. Desired Skills:
• Experience with Jira.
