Senior Analyst, Commercial Analytics & Insights

Summary

Perform analytics for commercial excellence analytics & insights team for all U.S business units. Own development and deployment of key internal and external performance dashboards to drive commercial excellence for sales and marketing teams.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develops content aimed at increasing visibility to data, analytics & insights to drive business results.

  • Design & develop the key dashboards for reporting, customer targeting, market intelligence and sales manager tools.

  • Visualize market intelligence analysis to assess overall business performance in key markets.

  • Development of AI driven insights to drive efficiency in the commercial excellent process.

  • Work cross functionally with product marketing leads to identify target customers to optimize new product launches.

  • Complex understanding of business issues, systems, data streams, & information needs. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

  • Develop materials, presentations, scorecards & measurements for internal and external audiences to articulate strategy, validate key metrics, and track execution, effectiveness & financial implications.

Qualifications

  • Ability to evaluate market potential, create customer segmentation and prioritize commercial opportunities

  • Deep understanding of customers’ business priorities and buying journey by having managed a Baxter product portfolio and driving go to market strategy.

  • Strong understanding of business and economic frameworks to identify subtle connections in customers’ business

  • An ability to turn insights into relevant, actionable guidance for customer targeting, market intelligence and new product launch excellence

  • A spirit of collaboration across different teams and functions

  • A strong working knowledge of Tableau, Cognos, Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and Word as well as experience with enterprise systems such as J.D. Edwards

  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred.2-5 years of analytics experience recommended.
