Position Summary

Responsible for leading operations across multiple plants in the Americas Operations network. Accountable for the plants’ delivery on employee safety, product quality, operational compliance and plant financial metrics. Establish m anufacturing strategy for plants, including material sourcing, capacity, cost reduction, logistics, and quality improvement.

Establish and drive manufacturing strategy for solutions plants to ensure delivery of manufactured products and inter-plant services that meet safety, quality, cost and on-time delivery goals in support of associated business objectives. Assess talent at the sites and actively coach and hold accountable site leaders to develop and move talent to support growing business needs and address talent deficiencies swiftly. Hold leaders accountable for planning, organizing and controlling the manufacturing and support activities at the site to produce quality products on time and competitively in compliance with regulatory requirements. Drive manufacturing standardization and process improvements to achieve network optimization.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Responsible for meeting or exceeding plant financial goals and key operating performance targets on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.

  • Responsible for plants’ compliance with all regulatory policies.

  • Responsible for recruiting, selecting and motivating site leaders to lead the various aspects of the operation. Assess, develop and manage top talent to engage and retain team members and meet business objectives. Assess key strengths and skill gaps of the talent pipeline. Lead, motivate and coach direct reports to do the same.

  • Establish operation mechanism with direct reports related to operational performance monthly and coach to take actions to address misses. Drive necessary communication mechanisms to insure senior leadership is informed of both leading and lagging performance and plant to address.

  • Interact regularly with senior management on matters concerning the business, portfolio life cycle management and/or customers.

  • Liaise with operations function leaders as necessary to address escalated matters and drive for results.

  • Coach direct reports to create and sustain a culture within the plant to maintain compliance with Environment, Health & Safety requirements and a zero-harm workplace.

  • Coach direct reports to develop and own three-year site capital plan and drive execution to support ongoing business as well as expansion opportunities, own and inform others of roll-up plan for all sites and drive for results.

  • Coach direct reports to drive continuous improvement, ongoing improvement of quality and cost reduction.

    Minimum Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in Science, Engineering, Supply Chain or related field required. Graduate degree (MBA) preferred.

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in manufacturing function(s) and 4 years’ experience in plant manufacturing operation of a facility.//

  • Ability to travel.

  • Willingness to relocate (relocation within region at a minimum)
