The Department of Human Services, Danville State Hospital, is searching for a Quality Assurance/Risk Management Specialist. This position is responsible for data collection, monitoring, data entry, and reporting of a wide variety of services provided at the hospital. The person holding this position consults and collaborates with interdisciplinary clinical and nonclinical support staff in the monitoring and evaluation of the quality assurance and risk management program activities. DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Quality Assurance/Risk Management Specialist, you are responsible for assisting in the hospital-wide performance improvement program. This task is accomplished through data collection, analysis, standard reviews, and policy implementation to assure compliance with all applicable accreditation and certification agency requirements. You also assist in the implementation of the hospitals Risk Management Program Plan and perform other duties such as coordinating the fall risk prevention plan, reviewing incident report data to reduce risk and identify opportunities for improvement, and assist with the proactive risk activities and root cause analysis process.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment, 37.5-hour work week Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. May change based on operational needs. Please check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

Two years of professional experience as a member of a multiple disciplinary treatment team in a public or private health care facility and a bachelor's degree; or Two years of clinical experience in an human services agency, including one year of administrative, evaluative, or consultative experience in a health care program; and a bachelor's degree with major course work in social work, nursing, health care administration, behavioral sciences or a related field; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
