SCOPE:

Management and supervision of all aspects of the quality function & QMS in an AS9100 company.

DUTIES:

• Establish inspection and test procedures. Ensure compliance with established procedures and processes.

• Assure ISO/ AS9100 system compliance as Lead Auditor and Management Representative.

• Compile data, review and report on company quality goals and objectives.

• Write, review and implement Quality System documentation.

• Supervise quality assurance personnel.

• Support production, procurement and engineering activities.

• Evaluate solicitation and new contract quality requirements.

• Implement quality assurance plans for all new contracts.

• Liaison with Government QAR’s on inspection and company compliance to government contracts.

• Interact directly with customers and suppliers as required.

• Manage plant safety procedures and OSHA compliance.

• Identify training needs regarding the QMS and plant safety and implement training.

• Supervise and perform hands-on inspection and tests on materials and products.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with AS9100, AS9102 & ISO 9001

• Experience leading audits

• Experience with First Article Inspection (FAI) and non-conformance

• Degree in related field

• 2-3 Years Supervisory experience

• 7-12 Years Inspection experience

• Manufacturing/Production experience

• Knowledge of FAR clauses and contract Quality Notes
