Job Description Working as a core member of our Industrial & Environment business unit, you will work on the implementation and delivery of climate change. energy and GHG emissions solutions for our global client base. We deliver foot-printing and emission calculation and verification services. In addition, you will also provide training to SGS affiliates and provide training on industry standards to SGS affiliates. More specifically, you will: * Assist the Global Service Manager to deliver the climate change, energy and GHG emissions strategy across multiple sectors and businesses; * Support the overall program of work, internal governance and processes for all GHG emissions services (verification and foot-printing) with a strong focus on quality in compliance with appropriate foot-printing standards or scheme rules; * Expand global footprint of services with training programs on standards and schemes; * Support the development and delivery of zero net carbon services, SBTi and wider carbon reduction projects; * Develop or update of GHG foot-printing and verification training material; * Run training sessions on main GHG emissions schemes: ISO 14064, ISO 14067, ISO 2060, GHG Protocol; * Manage auditors sign off process and consistency, quality and rigor in opinion deliveries; * Support the development of new commercial and technical solutions related to SBTi, decarbonization/climate change and alignment with SDGs; * Research and analyze market trends to promptly identify new business opportunities; * Support with technical guidance on complex global tender opportunities and the development of new business and service opportunities; * Co-manage corporate clients and support in the development of client specific solutions; * Assist with internal and external engagements to support program objectives. Qualifications * Educated to degree level in a Science, Engineering, Environment or relevant subject or equivalent professional experience; * Proven experience as a Lead GHG assessor with deep technical understanding of the oil and gas, energy and chemical industry (preferably); * Awareness of and understanding of climate change mitigation, zero net targets and strategies, and global and local policy drivers; * Ability to manage and process complex technical data into client friendly information; * Fluent in England and other languages would be a plusApply here: https://www.aplitrak.com/?adid=YmJnZW5lcmljLjM2NDkxLjEwNTA4QHNnc25vcnRoYW1lcmljYWNvbXAuYXBsaXRyYWsuY29t
