Duties & Responsibilities:

Perform routine and preventative maintenance for rolling stock. Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems, drive axles, electrical systems, and steering systems. Maintain battery charging area. Perform necessary welding repairs. Document all repairs on work orders. Keep track of parts inventory and battery service. Safely operate Powered Industrial Trucks. Must have knowledge of both plant and departmental Quality environmental health and safety regulations and comply with said regulations accordingly. Industrial maintenance. Other duties as assigned.

: High School Diploma or GED required with an associate degree in Industrial Maintenance or related program preferred. Ability to use electrical test equipment, e.g., volt-ohm meter, ammeter, meg-ohmmeter. Ability to troubleshoot and install DC/AC equipment/controllers, generators, solenoids, relays, motors, power supplies. Ability to perform industrial maintenance. Knowledge of hydraulic systems. Pipe fitting and welding experience preferred. 2 years' general maintenance experience preferred. Meet visual acuity requirements. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to push, pull up to 100 pounds. Ability to lift above the shoulder up to 30 pounds. Ability to bend/stoop. Ability to climb ladders. Ability to reach above the shoulder. Ability to meet confined space entry requirements. Ability to maneuver in enclosed spaces. Ability to work in extreme conditions (hot/cold temperatures). Ability to work in high places off the ground. Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, and various shifts. Read and interpret electrical schematics national electrical code.
