Description

SAIC is seeking a self-motivated and efficient problem solver to perform the following responsibilities in Charleston, SC:

• Installing equipment into racks, labeling cables, running cables.

• Reading and interpreting drawings and wiring diagrams to effectively interconnect rack components.

• Identifying and reporting design or fitment issues and working with drafters and engineers to resolve issue quickly to minimize production delays.

• Providing technical support during system testing.

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :

• High school education or equivalent (GED) and two (2) years of related experience.

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).

• Must be able to lift and carry at least 40 lbs.

DESIRED SKILLS :

• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills.

• Ability to operate effectively in a team environment and be able to take direction and constructive criticism.

REQUIRED CLEARANCE:

Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
