M&T Bank Liquidity Risk Capability Manager (Hybrid) in Buffalo, New York

This position will sit hybrid in Buffalo, NY and work onsite 2-3 days.

Overview:

The Liquidity Risk Capability Manager will be responsible for managing the transformation around execution, governance, methodology and support of Liquidity Risk within Project RISE.

Primary Responsibilities:

Builds out system to incorporate firm's liquidity risk frameworks, methodologies, and stress testing scenarios.

Work closely with Senior Management, and Key Stakeholders to create an efficient execution of Liquidity Risk framework.

Develop new tools for calculations, and govern data quality and controls.

Assist in the implementation of the firmwide liquidity risk framework system.

Maintain and develop processes around execution of Liquidity Stress Tests.

Partner with Treasury leaders to scale and time deliverables with in the broader Finance Transformation time lines.

Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.

Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the M&T Bank brand.

Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.

Complete other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 10 years’ proven marketing, product management, financial, operations and/or project management experience,OR in lieu of a degree,

  • A combined minimum of 14 years’ higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 10 years’ proven marketing, product management, financial, operations and/or project management experience.

M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $118,945.80 - $198,243.00 Annual (USD). The successful candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.
