Position Overview

We are seeking a talented Writer/Editor to join our dynamic content team. As a key contributor, you will craft compelling content on complex topics for various digital channels. The ideal candidate is not only a skilled wordsmith but also possesses a deep understanding of EU decision-making processes.

Responsibilities

As a Writer/Editor , you will:

• Create top-notch content in English for diverse platforms, including audio-visual scripts, print publications, websites, and social media.

• Conduct thorough research, analyse information, and perform interviews to ensure accuracy and depth in content.

• Meet with clients to understand their communication needs and translate them into effective messaging.

• Brief and supervise freelance writers to maintain consistency and quality.

• Ensure all content aligns with campaign objectives and maintains high standards.

• Be part of a super-friendly and smart team dedicated to excellence.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate:

• Is a fluent English speaker , with a minimum of 5 years of experience as a writer or journalist.

• Has a knack for storytelling , creating content that grabs attention and resonates with diverse audiences.

• Excels at simplifying complex issues , making them easy to understand.

• Balances attention to detail with a strategic view of content and campaign objectives.

• Possesses knowledge of SEO writing and mobile journalism (‘mojo’) , with familiarity in social media copywriting.

• Embraces AI tools and stays up-to-date with inbound marketing trends .

• Previous experience in a communication agency or within the EU institutions is a plus.
