General Responsibilities

Work safely - know, understand, and follow all safety rules

Input sawn lumber through edger to cut prescribed board lengths

Handle, sort, and stack lumber by dimension, species and grade

Safely maintain flow of the product

Utilize hand tools, i.e. broom, shovel, etc. to clean up sawmill debris

Some greasing and basic maintenance

Cross train in other positions

Ability to lift 50 pounds

Ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with body, arms, and/or legs

Ability to exert muscle force in repeated or continuous motion for long periods

Ability to stand for an extended period of time
