This position is in part-time (20hrs).

Collaborate with the AER (Accounting & External Reporting) Team in all AER activities related to US GAAP and statutory accounting deliverables. Provide support to the Mondelez Services Centers and be the Accounts Payable link point between Accenture and Local organization

How you will contribute

Accounts Payable:

  • Key contact person and link between the Local Mdlz organization, AP Mdlz CoE and Accenture

  • Escalation process: support the Local organization on the AP issues (Po's, GRIR, vendor debit balances, Accounting Leasing) and the Accenture AP team on the open items resolution, PO debit balances and incorrect AP postings.

  • Validate/propose the vendors clearings, PO clearings, MR11

Accounting

  • Review Balance Sheet accounts and discuss with the Manager the required actions (clearing, support documentation, adjustments, ...)

  • Follow-up and resolution of aged items, and items requiring investigation in the balance sheet,

  • Provide audit support by providing/facilitating the information requested by the auditors.

Others

  • Monthly Central Bank Reporting

  • Organize filing of tax documents

  • General administrative and organizational support of Finance and Taxes departments in Bremen

  • Business partner for internal and external service providers (Fixed Assets, Intercompany Transactions, Accounts Payable)

What you will bring

A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career. You will bring experience and knowledge in:

  • Chartered Accountant

  • 2/3 years experience in US GAAP and local GAAP accounting

  • Finance Background

  • Excellent communication skills in English and German

  • Experienced user of MS Office products

  • Good organizational skills

Location: Bremen with Home Office flexibility

The responsibilities of this position are performed within the framework of a regional business model that is defined and managed by Mondelēz Europe GmbH, Switzerland .
