We are pleased to announce the following available full-time position at Alabama Clinical Schools and seek a dynamic and talented:

Information Technology Specialist: Reporting to the CFO, IT Specialist he provides highly professional level planning, reporting and analysis to support the organization’s goals and objective. The Information Technologies Specialist installs, maintains, troubleshoots and upgrades the facility computers, servers, telephone and security systems. The IT Specialist troubleshoots a variety of technical support problems related to the facility's technology systems. The It Specialist performs maintenance duties on all computer, phone and security systems.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

1.

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelors Degree in Computer Science preferred. Equivalent to completion of two years college coursework in computer science, information technology or related field.

2.

Experience:

Prefer three (3) years experience working in the computer field. Knowledge of current computer hardware, software and programming skills, troubleshooting and repairing computers, printers, telephone systems and other IT systems throughout the facility.

3.

License/Certification:

N/A

4.

Skills:

Have the ability to deal with diverse and stress related situations in a calm manner. Must be detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy. Effective oral and written communication and guest relation skills required. Must have good organizational and computer technical skills and have the ability to set priorities.

5.

Competencies:

Demonstrated competency in Computers & Servers, Telephone System, Security System, and Preventative Maintenance

6.

Physical Requirements:

Visual acuity, extensive sitting and ability to lift twenty (20) pounds.
