Our client, business productivity software is seeking a Payroll and Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have payroll process experience, communication and problem-solving skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Payroll and Accounts Payable Specialist

Location: Bensenville, IL (outside Chicago)

4 days in-office, 1 day work from home

Pay Range: $60 - $65k (plus excellent Benefits!)

Full Time - Permanent

What’s the Job?

• Responsible for preparing USA and international (Mexico, Brazil, Netherlands and Ireland) payroll and assisting with accounts payable tasks.

• Manages time sensitive payroll processing deadlines on a biweekly basis in the USA and semi-monthly and monthly payroll for our international operations, as well as supporting accounts payable to process invoices, reconciling vendor accounts and making payments.

• Obtain and maintain a thorough knowledge of company policies and practices related to payroll, accounts payable, expense reimbursement, purchasing and others to ensure consistent application and compliance.

• Obtain and maintain an understanding of payroll and ERP systems as needed to perform tasks.

• Coordinate, prepare and process payroll (US and international) in an accurate, timely and compliant manner.

What’s Needed?

• Bachelor's, AA, or AS degree in accounting

• 1-3 years of payroll processing experience (experience with ADP a big plus!)

• Ability to work collaboratively across departmental functions

• Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred, not required

• Experience with ADP WorkforceNow, ADP Celergo preferred, not required
