Google Program Manager, YouTube in Bengaluru, India

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience

  • 5 years of experience in program or project management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or MBA.

  • Familiarity with Generative AI frameworks, models, and tools.

  • Ability to drive technical discussions or resolve technical issues with engineering leads.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

YouTube Creator team builds products to help creators create modern multi-format content while scaling responsibility for cutting edge Generative AI technology.

  • Lead and manage multiple large-scale, cross-functional technical programs with significant impact on the organization's strategic goals. Establish relationships with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring alignment and buy-in throughout the program lifecycle.

  • Plan and prioritize implementation tasks for features including scope, schedule, resource allocation, risk management, and communication strategies.

  • Track and report program progress against key milestones and metrics, ensuring transparency and accountability.

  • Develop tools and processes to improve software engineering productivity. Drive continuous improvement through post-mortem analysis and lessons learned.
