Meta Technical Program Manager: Reality Labs Integrity / Youth in Bellevue, Washington

Summary:

The Meta Reality Labs (RL) team is developing future products in Mixed and Augmented Reality with breakthrough work in computer vision, and machine learning that will enable groundbreaking experiences for consumers and businesses. The RL Trust organization enables world-class Privacy and Security solutions for Reality Labs products, raising the bar on Trust and creating platforms that make Privacy & Security simple and seamless for our Product teams to implement and manage across Reality Labs.Within the RL Trust organization, the RL Trust Integrity/Youth organization focuses on building trust with consumers and key stakeholders by ensuring safe and age-appropriate experiences, along with world-class protection for our users and for Reality Labs products. We offer cross-RL strategic guidance, infrastructure, and common solutions to support these efforts, and we represent RL in cross-Meta Youth + Integrity work.We’re looking for a Technical Program Manager to lead several company-critical initiatives across these domains. The ideal candidate will share our passion and deep understanding of engineering solutions that enable world-class security for RL while improving user trust on our products. The candidate will work closely with our Engineering and Product Management partners to develop and follow through on multi-year Integrity/Youth roadmaps and help define what comes next.

Required Skills:

Technical Program Manager: Reality Labs Integrity / Youth Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and manage end-to-end technical product and engineering solutions and ensure on-time delivery.

  2. Manage and own cross-functional products and programs execution in a matrix organization.

  3. Drive and influence technical, product, and program strategy, proactively identify risks and develop mitigation strategies, align on priorities, and set direction for a broadly cross-functional area.

  4. Design success metrics and measurements to track impact and drive internal process improvements.

  5. Collaboratively define the vision for building Meta-scale, state-of-the-art, global products.

  6. Develop and manage end-to-end program plans to ensure on-time delivery, provide day-to-day coordination, and quality assurance for tasks.

  7. Move fast in a flat organization by working in concert with technical program managers, product managers and engineers across Meta to establish a shared vision for improving execution and building solutions.

  8. Ongoing communication of planning, project status, issues and risks in a timely fashion to stakeholders.

  9. Establish shared goals with product teams across the company to build alignment across multiple cross-functional teams and to build and scale products for Meta.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. B.S. in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.

  2. 8+ years of software engineering, systems engineering, hardware engineering, or technical product/program management experience.

  3. Experience driving and delivering complex tech programs or products from inception to delivery.

  4. Experience defining strategic direction and identifying new opportunities for impact amongst products, platforms and programs.

  5. Experience operating autonomously across multiple teams and functions, demonstrated critical thinking, and thought leadership.

  6. Communication experience at executive level and experience influencing senior leadership and technical management teams to develop systems, solutions, and products.

  7. Analytical and problem-solving experience with large-scale systems.

  8. Experience establishing work relationships across multi-disciplinary teams and multiple partners in different time zones.

  9. Experience working with product teams to build and deliver end-to-end customer focused products with technical knowledge of the underlying platforms and technologies.

Public Compensation:

$167,000/year to $230,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
