As a P&C Senior Consultant / Associate Director in ICT, you will be responsible for managing / leading the delivery of a variety of projects on IFRS 17, pricing, predictive analytics, data science, merger & acquisitions, reserve valuation, RBC etc for our P&C clients mainly across Thailand and the broader South East Asia (SEA) region.

You will be responsible for reviewing the analysis and presenting the results and recommendations. You will work closely with other analysts/consultants and the project lead to ensure timely delivery of projects. Many of the projects will involve the use of WTW”s market leading actuarial software to produce customized solutions for our clients. In addition to project delivery, you will also be responsible for client communication, project management, and business development activities.

Performance Objectives:

Clients

• Serve as the project manager/lead, ensuring the progress against established project scope, budget, timeline, deliverables and quality standards

• Serve as the primary day-to-day contact to clients on delivery of services, while managing client expectations to ensure that we deliver on projects to meet or exceed client expectations

• Work as part of a multidisciplinary consulting team to analyze issues and develop value-added solutions for the clients

• Develop a trusted advisor relationship with client contacts through effective communication and efficient, quality execution of projects

• Actively participate in business development activities and work with the team to develop go-to-market propositions relevant to Thai insurers. You may be supporting in business development activities across all our areas of expertise.

• Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or any other related quantitative fields

• Senior Consultant: 8 - 15 years of general insurance experience, preferably with some consulting or regional experience. More experienced candidates with client facing/stakeholder management/business development experience may be considered for the Associate Director position

• Fluent in both Thai and English. Non-Thai speakers will not be considered.

• Good progress with actuarial exams from recognised International Actuarial Bodies

• Strong technical understanding and working experience in IFRS 17, pricing, reserving/valuation

• Familiar with insurance regulations and market in Thailand, or having a good understanding of general insurance business, market and trends in the SEA region

• Familiarity with WTW’s software (e.g. Emblem, Radar, ResQ and/or ResQ Financial Reporter) is a plus

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Proven experience in successfully managing multiple projects and producing quality deliverables on time and within budget

• Self-driven achiever, and able to work independently with minimal supervision

• Good time management skills, and able to manage multiple concurrent projects efficiently
