Key Responsibilities:

Duties Performed at All Levels:

  • Responsible for the staff and faculty recruitment, credentialing through CU Medicine, UCH, and other facilities for clinical faculty.

  • Responsible for processing and coordination of procurement activities, expense reimbursements, travel arrangements and reimbursements.

  • Responsible for promotion and tenure committee and faculty support which includes scheduling and/or attending meetings, sending out reminders to faculty involved in the review or promotion process, coordinating workshops.

  • Responsible for organizing Department events, workshops, speakers' series, including the business speaker engagement, venue & technology scheduling, promotion on the Department public website, including calendar of events, news, faculty achievements and grants awarded.

  • Maintain portions of the Department website including use of the department camera to keep website photos current.

Additional Duties Performed at the Senior Level:

  • This position facilitates departmental communication through regular communication briefings, including weekly bulletins, electronic newsletters, newspaper advertising, etc.

  • This position manages the Department of Radiology IT inventory:

  • Maintains records for the computer and equipment inventory.

  • Responsible for purchasing new computers and equipment.

  • Tracking deployment and retrieval of computers and equipment.

Additional Duties Performed at the Principal Level:

  • Lead Recruiter for all Department of Radiology Faculty and Staff.

  • Specific duties include independently writing and maintaining job descriptions, posting jobs on CU Careers and other sites, screening candidates, leading search committees, coordinating interviews and site visits (for faculty recruits if necessary), and onboarding new employees. Additionally, will chaperone recruits throughout campus to various interviews and meetings during their visit.

  • Physician Credentialing and Privileging.

  • Work closely with the UCH Medical Staff Office to lead new physicians through the clinical credentialing process and set up their CU Medicine billing profile in Salesforce with strict deadlines to ensure ability to practice on day one.

  • Creates and maintains detailed database on MD's and NP/PAs credentialing and licensure and assists in maintaining updated records are disseminated to appropriate authorities.

  • Employee Database Management.

  • Maintain department email distribution lists as employee roster changes throughout the year.

  • Update Department contact app with roster changes as needed.
