IT Business AnalystAs an IT Business Analyst at WinField United, you will design and develop web portals and mobile solutions tailored for our Retail Customers. Collaborating closely with a Product Family Manager, this role will be responsible for translating business objectives into technical and functional solutions that support the overarching business strategy, managing IT resource prioritization and budgeting to ensure optimal allocation, collaborating with diverse onshore and offshore teams, including specialists in React, Kentico, iOS, Android, as well as integration and ensuring high availability and reliability of the developed products. This role demands a proactive approach to integrating business needs with technology solutions, while working effectively with multidisciplinary teams to drive successful outcomes.Manage business relationships:Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a matrixed organizationLiaise across product and capability teams, external solution providers, etc.Build trust and rapport with the business stakeholders to earn a seat at the tableEffectively communicate technical and functional subject matter across vast stakeholder groups and leadershipNurture outcome-based problem solving:Develop deep understanding of business problems/prioritiesBalance tech strategy needs with business outcomesChampion transparency and support value-based prioritizationEnsure appropriate solutions are provided by the team's technical experts to advance business goals.Business, Product, and Tech/Platform Strategy:Understand and translate business objectives into technical/functional solutions that support the overall business strategy.Collaborate with technical domain leads on enterprise application and infrastructure roadmapsKeep current on technological advancements, and industry best practices to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in existing processes.Develop function design documents to meet the requirements of the of the business owners.Review the design with the business process owners and receive approval of the process.R eview the design document with technical team members for development.Manage application portfolio, including support and change management.Contribute to execution and shaping of the IT organization talent strategyPrioritize and enable the work of the team:Evaluate and prioritize project requirements based on their impact on business goals,and technical feasibility.Assess potential risks and constraints associated with requirements, and assist with prioritize tasks to mitigate those risks while maintaining project timelines.Organize work effort to enable reliable time estimates.Champion and Execute Agile principles:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and refine user stories, ensuring that they are well-defined, actionable, and aligned with project objectives.Participate in sprint planning sessions, helping to define the scope of work for each sprint and ensuring that the development team understands the requirements.Continuously engage with developers, testers, and stakeholders during development cycles, providing feedback and clarifications to ensure the product aligns with user needs.Support Product teams:Promote team autonomy including owner's mindset, prioritization, decision making, breaking dependencies, etc.Nurture open, safe, and sustainable team environmentEnsure accountability, productivity, and inclusion of all.Hold 1-on-1's with product team members as necessary to ensure all voices are being heard and underlying issues are being addressed.Reinforce business value to the teamPartner with the Scrum Master to balance business deadlines with sustainable delivery (consistent velocity)Required Experience/Knowledge/Skills:3 years of experience in Product/Project delivery of technology solutionsExcellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, highly driven and customer-focusedSound business and technical acumen paired with strong communication kills to share information across vast stakeholder groupsAbility to communicate cross functionally to remove barriers and enable teams to complete their objectivesAbility to effectively navigate a highly matrixed organizationExperience with Agile Methodologies and best practicesDemonstrated interest, experience and acumen in mentoring and coaching of othersPreferred Experience:Ability to lead IT resources specialized in the following IT disciplines: React, Kentico, Portal, iOS, Mobile, and Integration Developers.Experience delivering solutions to Sales, Marketing.This role is conducted primarily from the corporate officeAbout Land O'Lakes, Inc.Join us and be part of a Fortune 250, farmer- and member-owned cooperative that is reimagining the business of food.
