Purpose of Role

This role will lead the project management from design to delivery of our new 3PL Distribution House based in Almelo, Netherlands, and the subsequent day to day management once Live.

The Senior Lead, Central Distribution House is accountable for leading the Project Management of our new distribution house, post contract sign-off, driving the solution design finalization and delivery. This role will be responsible for coordinating with various internal stakeholders to ensure the successful transition from our current incumbent and Go Live. They will engage with Subject Matter Experts and present regular progress updates to Senior Leadership, to ensure timelines, cost and contractual obligations are met.

As a Distribution Senior Manager of the site, you will oversee the activities to achieve strategic goals, quality, cost, and service. You will be responsible for managing a team of Under Armour distribution professionals and leading the 3PL team on the execution of the overall day to day operations and building goals. The Senior Manager is responsible for effectively communicating cross-functionally to maintain the most productive and efficient workflow for the distribution function. This involves driving all financial metrics while ensuring the site maintains set service levels for all business channels. The Distribution House Senior Manager drives performance and accountability while enforcing Under Armour’s Core Competencies. There will be strong interaction with all other Supply Chain pillars, particularly Transport, Logistics and Customer Operations. Further, the role works closely with our Global FP&A team.

Regular travel to the site in Almelo will be expected during the implementation process, with weekly on-site presence required post Go-Live.

Your Impact

• Day to day project management of the new DH, from Design verification through to delivery; defining, developing, and leading actions

• Collaboration with 3PL partners and internal SMEs to ensure optimization of new solution.

• Ownership of internal communication on progress, leading cross functional meetings and driving financial & executive steer cos.

• Day to day site leader of all operational activities & management of 3PL partner

• Partnership with cross functional teams on key KPI’s impacting service inclusive of fill rates, order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, ATP reporting and warehouse process performance/accuracy.

Qualifications

• Results-driven leader with vision and enterprise mindset.

• High level of competency for people management (direct & indirect reports).

• Previous similar Project Management or Qualification (such as Prince 2) preferred.

• Highly effective communicator with the ability to summarize and present complex data.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Business Objects based reporting.

• Financial acumen is a must

• Bachelor’s Degree

• 10 years +’ experience in supply chain operations or project/process management.

• 10 years +’ experience in people management

Workplace Location

• Location: Almelo/Amsterdam, The Netherlands (Hybrid between Amsterdam Office & Almelo during site construction phase – 4 days on site) Return to Work Designation: Work location primarily on site at Almelo once open and operational with requirement to visit Amsterdam office on a bi-weekly basis – 4 days on site and/or at Amsterdam Office
