Voyatek is seeking applicants to occupy the position of Senior Project Manager to join our NYS Information Technology Services Team located in Albany, NY.

Key Responsibilities:

Day-to-day tasks include but are not limited to:
  • Coordinate internal resources and vendors for the execution of the project
  • Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans, including risk mitigation
  • Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
  • Assign and monitor resources to ensure project efficiency and maximize deliverables
  • Analyze project status and, when necessary, revise the scope, schedule, or budget to ensure that project requirements can be met
  • Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to project work plan
  • Establish and maintain relationships with relevant client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes

Qualifications:

60 - 84 Months: Candidate is able to work independently, without assistance and provides guidance to others. May have an advanced education.

Mandatory Qualifications:
  • 60 months of experience in general IT project management
  • 24 months of experience in IT project management focusing on network technologies including WAN, cabling, LAN, Wifi
  • 24 months of experience in IT project management for network projects involving large scale campus implementations
  • Professional certification such as PMP
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. This includes, but is not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and geographic location. At Voyatek, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current annual range is $43.00 to $53.00
